The Craft

My journey with digital art began in graphic design. Over the years, through self-study, formal classes, and hands-on experience, I became fluent in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign — the first languages I used to express myself visually.

Eventually, I began experimenting beyond design. I played with filters using apps like Prisma, photo edits, even early AI-generated art in Photoleap — not as final pieces, but as raw materials. I collaged, composited, and reshaped images to reflect my vision. My tools expanded, but I was always reaching for something more intuitive and personal.

Everything changed in May 2024 when I began using Procreate. It felt like finding the right key to unlock the art I had always wanted to make. With the Apple Pencil in hand, a limitless palette, and a growing collection of brushes, I began to explore: color, texture, light, pattern, and sacred symmetry — all guided by intuition.

I’m especially drawn to brushes that play with light and variation — iridescence, sparkle, shine. I layer, I blend, I experiment. I tap into digital tools that mimic traditional mediums like watercolor and oil, as well as tools that don’t exist outside the screen — light brushes, foils, and frequency effects. Blending modes are my secret weapon. They allow me to push beyond the expected and into the magical.

I also use iOrnament for geometric symmetries, and Kaleidopaint for tessellated patterns. Whether I’m working in Procreate alone or layering tools together, I create from a flow state — grounded in my spirituality and led by inspiration.

My art is a conversation with the divine. It gives me peace, purpose, and the feeling of coming home to myself.

A word about my use of AI art

If any AI tools were used in creating a particular artwork, I will note that fact in a photo caption, with a brief explanation of how AI technology was incorporated. It is never used as the final finished product, but as source material for reference, tracing, or compositing. The majority of my designs shared here do not utilize any AI.
