Every design begins as play. A doodle, a symmetry, a color experiment—something exploratory, without pressure to become or mean anything at all. These early forms are seedlings. Some remain simple studies, training my eye and hand. Others evolve. A seedling becomes a sapling… and then something clicks. A pattern becomes a symbol, and the symbol becomes a story. These are the pieces that name themselves, demand a myth, unveil a purpose—they feel as though they have always existed, waiting to be uncovered.

The works that feel most complete—the ones with presence, story, and depth—don’t emerge in spite of experimentation, but because of it. Play isn’t separate from the process; it’s the path that leads to meaning.
